Listen to Dr. Clare Noone in this video talk about the role of the Mace Head Atmospheric Research Station of NUI Galway in the research of Climate Change and Air Pollution using a operational system known as StreamAIR, which integrates highly sophisticated equipment, atmospheric models and real time air pollution and climate data.
Located on the Atlantic coast near Carna Connemara, the mission of the station is to facilitate key-process research into the evolution of atmospheric composition and to its impacts on climate change, concomitant with the promotion of knowledge transfer and the underpinning of policy development and education in the areas of atmospheric climate, and air pollution.
