In the biggest rewilding project in Galway city since the commencement of the mass tree plantings in Terryland Forest Park in March 2000, Galway Community College (GCC) plan to transform 10 acres of farmland on the Renmore side of Lough Atalia into wildlife habitats suitable for aquatic birdlife and associated flora and fauna.
