SAP’s Green Team in Ireland and Galway strives towards achieving zero waste and carbon neutrality promoting recycling/reuse in areas such as coffee cups to electronic waste, providing a series of regular eco-talks for personnel on topics such as beekeeping and cycle-to-work scheme to growing one’s own food; organising community events such as beach clean-ups. In Galway they have become the first corporation to transform the familiar green sterile lawns that are so common in business parks, into wildflower meadows for bees and other pollinators.
