Fiona Blaney is a Community Development Worker with the Galway City Partnership (GCP), the Local Development Company for Galway City https://gcp.ie/
Fiona coordinates the Let’s Get Galway Growing Network (LGGG), which acts as the coordinating mechanism for the  city’s community organic gardens which are organised and run by local people for their local communities.
The main objectives of “Let’s Get Galway Growing” are to provide support and communications between for the gardens in Galway city, increase awareness of their societal role, share information on events and activites, provide peer learning, organise expert training courses for members and secure financial and other resources where possible.
