Denis is part of an environmental and energy team whose role is to reduce energy consumption year on year. The team also have completed and passed IS0 14001 environmental, 5001 energy and 14064-1Carbon neutrality audits. The most recent manufacturing line in Galway, was developed in response to the parent company’s 2030 sustainability aspirations, and the commitment to reduce the customers’ CO2 emissions by one gigaton by 2030.

Denis believes Galway is already a great place to live, with the rivers, lakes, canals and bay giving us fantastic access to waterways and the trees and woods around the area giving us beautiful nature trails. What is required is a county citizen push for well designed, safe walking and cycling routes around the City and county. He hopes Galway National Park City will make it even better to live, work and be happy!
