Claire Lillis, Programme Manager, Aerogen

Galway City native, Claire Lillis, is an R&D Programme Manager with Aerogen, the world’s leader in acute care aerosol drug delivery. With global headquarters in Dangan, Aerogen’s award winning products are employed in over 75 countries throughout the world, helping to provide life-critical interventions from the emergency department through to the ICU.

Claire is representing Aerogen in the Galway National Park City initiative, and will strive to promote the aims and principles of the venture within the company and inspire others from all of the different sectors to follow suit.

Aerogen is committed to sustainability, starting its journey towards carbon neutrality in 2019, by planting over 500 native Irish trees in Terryland Forest Park and funding the construction of a community nursery that will provide saplings for local schools and community organisations. Aerogen CEO, John Power, is dedicated to supporting both the arts and sports in Galway, sponsoring the Galway International Arts Festival, Druid Theatre and Connacht Rugby.

Claire is an active member of the Connemara Greenway Alliance, campaigning for the completion of the 76km greenway from Galway City to Clifden. She is heavily involved in the arts in Galway City, is a street performer with Macnas and loves nothing more than starting her day with a swim in Galway Bay.
