Aksana Chyzheuskaya The Coderdojo Champion

Aksana is a market analyst and formerly a lecturer in Economics at NUI Galway. Aksana holds a PhD in Environmental Economics from NUI Galway and feels very passionate about environment, conservation and preservation of natural resources and beauty.

Her related interest in education and youth development led her to take on the role of managing the activities, mentors and students (ninjas) at CoderDojo Galway City, one of the largest and longest established coding volunteer groups in Ireland and which has a proud tradition of encouraging eco-themes as subjects for projects by their young course participants.

Aksana formerly served as a Director and Treasurer for the Shark swimming club and as a member of  the Board of Directors of the Renmore Gymnastics Club
